Dina Oganova (Georgia)

I Am Georgia

Georgia is a small country. It is located on the border of Europe and Asia on the coast of the Black Sea. Formerly part of the Soviet Union, it borders with Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Armenia. The population is about 4 million, one third of whom live in the capital city, Tbilisi...

Georgia is my favourite subject (topic) to shoot, not because I was born and raised here, just because everything is special here... People, streets, architecture, traditions...people are very traditional and I like that.  Also I like the new generation which is absolutely different  and all this contrasts in the streets and everywhere… I love my country and that’s why I’m taking photographs here.

I began this story in 2007 and I think it will never finish because Georgia is inexhaustible... for me.
